Monotop

MonoTop is an elastomeric acrylic compound applied as a weather-coat over the MonoBase or AguaBase roofing systems, protecting from the damaging effects of the elements. Ultraviolet and infrared reflective technology provides significant energy cost savings. The product effectively transforms radiant roof temperatures into cooler, ambient temperatures.

MonoTop is both ultra-violet and infrared reflective, providing the building owner with significant energy cost savings.

MonoTop effectively transforms radiant roof temperatures (150-160F) to cooler, ambient temperatures (80-90F), thereby cooling building interior and cutting costs.

Unlike traditional roofing systems, MonoTop wears from the top down, rather than from the bottom up, and is therefore merely recoated to rebuild millage and extend the warranty. For life of building warranty renewal, two or more additional coats of MonoTop are applied after each 10, 15, or 20 year warrantable period.

Average Coverage: 125 sq. ft. / gal / coat

Substrates:

  • Granulated Built Up
  • Smooth Built Up
  • Smooth Modified Bitumen
  • Granulated Modified Bitumen
  • Concrete: Lightweight & Cast
  • EPDM (or other rubber substrates)
  • TPO/PVC/ Hypalon & Similar
  • Metal Roof
